Alarming & subversive – watch Maty Noyes ooze swagger as she murders and mutilates her fake friends into a Frankenstein monster. This devilish anecdote fits perfectly on this poignant piece of music. Beautifully directed, shot, and produced. WOOF! #issabop
This is an aggressive flop and here’s why: Bebe is more concerned with melodies and sounding grungy than building identity as an artist. She’s got two EPs and a full album and we still have no idea what she stands for and what her perspective is. This song says nothing more than “I’m done partying but only after tonight.” First off, no you’re not. This is just a made-up story because it sounds edgy. Except it doesn’t.. because the song is called “Last Hurrah.” #issaflop
Zeddbi-honest, this might pass as an okay song by a no-name artist, but compared to the latest Zedd release it feels slow and generic. This will need to be drilled into our brains at radio if it stands any chance of being a hit. Zedd’s hair is awful and Katy Perry plays herself in the video. Barely, but #issaight
We’ll let CXLOE explain; “I always seem to find a way to sabotage things in my life that usually mean the most to me. Through this, I quickly learned the very valuable lessons that I simply cant have nice things.” We hear you babe. Guess it’s better to BE a nice thing than to collect them. This is dark pop at its best. #issabop
Low key enough to become a high key fave. Released briefly last year before being yanked back (and said to be a leak, mysterious!) lucky listeners can now play this harrowing audio tale of a song. Set opens up life changing experiences. He’s only 27, but growing up without a dad, missing his grandmother, friends going to jail, almost dying in a crushing car crash…this dude has been through it, and has the chops to sing about all. We’re definitely going to be watching out for his much anticipated, and as of yet untitled solo release next Friday. #issaight
